Helping our contractors offer more to their clients.
By providing our contractors with a white label solution, we aim to empower them to expand their service offerings and increase their revenue. A white label solution allows our contractors to seamlessly integrate our product into their existing brand, providing a more personalized and tailored experience for their clients. This not only strengthens their market position but also drives additional sales and revenue opportunities for both our contractors and our company.

The Problem
How do we create a product that is both scalable and customized based off of each contractors’ needs?
Discovery
After discovering the success of our own EV Charger store, we saw an opportunity to offer this solution to our electrification contractors in order to generate more sales and installations.
Design
With ambitious goals to create 250 white label stores by Q4, we began building mocks and presenting our white label solution right away.
The Outcome
White label stores for our growing user base.
Our system
-
Quick mocks for reference for our lead dev
-
Branding cards for our devs to quickly reference key elements in order to build the store
-
Documentation for our growing design team to understand design decisions
What I learned
Rapid iteration
We have had many white label sign ons, and this has taught me how to conduct rapid iterations in order to meet the increasing demands of our users.
Balancing users’ marketing team concerns with good UX design
Many of our users have marketing teams that participated in meetings. There are often conflicting needs between marketing and design.
I've learned to have productive conversations with external marketing teams. Explaining design choices and showing how they help clients make purchases and add installations has greatly improved my skills as a designer. Now, I can communicate effectively with both external and internal teams.
